Sunita is a registered trademark of Skoulikas Bedford Ltd. Founded in 1977, the brand began by importing olive oil and olives from Greece and was one of the first to introduce organic olive oil to the UK.
Today, Sunita offers a carefully selected range of plant-based, organic and natural Mediterranean foods. Sourced from trusted growers and produced using traditional methods with minimal processing, Sunita remains committed to quality, authenticity and great nutritional value.
Our refreshing lemon and orange juices are produced from traditional family-farmed groves in the sunny Capo d'Orlando region of Sicily. Sunita Lime Juice is made from aromatic limes sourced from Mexico and Brazil, carefully selected for their freshness, quality, and flavour. Our organic lemon and lime juices are available in glass bottles, while our non-organic juices come in convenient squeezy bottles.
Sunita Ranges
Sunita natural and organic tahini is produced in Greece following traditional methods. Selected Humera sesame seeds from African Countries are carefully roasted to bring out their rich flavour and then finely ground on specially designed equipment to create a smooth, delicious spread. Nothing else is added.
Our authentic tahini is a versatile and nutritious addition to vegan and vegetarian meals. Perfect for homemade hummus, blend with olive oil or even making a dressing for salads.
Our Sunita pesto range is made using carefully selected organic ingredients and traditional methods to preserve authentic Italian flavour. Pesto Genovese combines fresh organic basil from Liguria with its distinctive fragrance and vibrant colour, while Pesto Rosso blends fresh and sundried Italian tomatoes with cashews and pine nuts for a rich, textured taste.
The name halva comes from the Arabic word ‘halwa’, which means “sweet confection.”
Sunita halva is a delicious sesame treat produced to a traditional recipe in central Greece. It is sweetened only with honey, concentrated grape juice, or coconut syrup and is a good source of protein and calcium.
Available in a range of natural varieties, including plain, almond, pistachio, sultana, and cocoa, our halva makes a delicious sweet snack at any time of the day. A little goes a long way.
Sunita Polenta is made from organically grown maize. It is very versatile and a great alternative to pasta and bread, especially for those following a gluten free diet.
